The homeowners wanted to replace a dated kitchen with a more functional, transitional space designed for both everyday living and entertaining. Their goals included improving the kitchen layout, incorporating two islands for dedicated prep and gathering spaces, updating finishes throughout the first floor, and refinishing the existing hardwood floors while maintaining the home’s classic character. The project also included a complete primary bathroom remodel and updates to adjacent living spaces for a cohesive look throughout the home. 

Hurst Design Build Remodel completely reimagined the kitchen with a more efficient layout centered around two islands, one serving as a prep station and the other providing generous seating for family and guests. New custom cabinetry, countertops, plumbing fixtures, lighting, and flooring were carefully selected to create a bright, welcoming space with timeless appeal. The team also refreshed the surrounding living areas with new finishes, paint, and lighting to ensure the renovated kitchen felt naturally connected to the rest of the home.

• Daltile backsplash with complementary accent tile for texture and visual interest 

• Under cabinet lighting, recessed lighting, and decorative pendant fixtures to provide layered illumination 

• Updated paint palette by Sherwin Williams to complete the home’s transitional aesthetic
