Kitchens

The homeowners wanted to replace a dated, inefficient kitchen with a space that offered better functionality, improved storage, and a more open layout for everyday living and entertaining. They also wanted updated finishes throughout the first floor that reflected their personal style while maintaining the home’s character.

Hurst Design Build Remodel completely reimagined the kitchen by replacing the existing peninsula with a spacious island to improve workflow and create a more open connection between the kitchen and adjoining living spaces. New Omega cabinetry, premium countertops, updated lighting, and refinished flooring established a cohesive transitional design, while renovations to the primary bathroom and new flooring throughout much of the first floor gave the home a fresh, unified appearance.

• Spacious center island topped with Calacatta Classique quartz featuring a dramatic mitered edge

• Custom Omega Full Access cabinetry with Beach House perimeter cabinetry, a contrasting Pesto island, and Amerock hardware

• Charcoal Soapstone Silestone perimeter countertops that complement the bright quartz island

• Kohler extra-large single bowl undermount sink paired with a Luxart Agra pull-down faucet

• White oak hardwood flooring extending throughout the main living areas for a seamless look

• CTI tile backsplash that enhances the kitchen’s clean transitional style

• Custom black iron island support detail that adds architectural interest

• Layered lighting featuring recessed, under cabinet, and decorative pendant fixtures, complemented by a Sherwin Williams color palette

The completed renovation transformed the kitchen into a bright, functional gathering space centered around a spacious island designed for cooking, entertaining, and everyday family life. Custom cabinetry, premium materials, and thoughtfully integrated finishes create a kitchen that balances transitional style with lasting functionality while giving the entire first floor a cohesive, updated look.
