Exterior and Outdoor Living

The homeowners wanted to turn their existing covered patio into a true outdoor living destination that could be enjoyed for entertaining and everyday relaxation. The space included an outdated hot tub and enclosed patio that limited its potential. They envisioned a fully equipped outdoor kitchen with comfortable gathering areas, premium finishes, and features that would allow them to cook, dine, and watch the game outdoors while complementing the architecture of their Shaker Heights home.

Hurst Design Build Remodel reimagined the covered patio by removing the existing enclosure and hot tub and creating a custom outdoor kitchen and entertainment space. The design incorporates durable natural materials, built-in appliances, stone seating walls, custom cabinetry, and a dedicated television wall, creating an outdoor room that feels like an extension of the home while standing up to Northeast Ohio’s changing seasons.
