Covered Patio Westlake
Exterior and Outdoor Living
About This Project
The Homeowner's Challenge
The homeowners wanted to replace their existing deck with a more functional outdoor living space that would provide shelter from the elements while expanding their home’s entertaining area. They envisioned a covered patio with multiple gathering spaces, improved access to the backyard, and durable, low-maintenance materials that would complement the architecture of their Westlake home.
Hurst's Approach
Hurst Design Build Remodel designed a custom covered patio that combines open-air and protected outdoor living spaces into one cohesive addition. The project included a new roof structure over the lower deck, expanded upper and lower decks, a decorative concrete patio, architectural columns, integrated lighting, and carefully selected exterior finishes that blend seamlessly with the existing home. Every detail was designed to create a comfortable outdoor retreat for entertaining and everyday enjoyment.
