Exterior and Outdoor Living

The homeowners wanted to create a resort-style backyard centered around a new pool while making the outdoor space more functional for entertaining. They envisioned a spacious patio with comfortable gathering areas, improved access from the home, and durable materials that would stand up to years of outdoor living. As part of the project, they also incorporated a new powder room into the existing laundry area to better support outdoor activities and pool guests.

Hurst Design Build Remodel designed a custom outdoor living environment that seamlessly connects the home to the new pool and patio. The project included an expansive decorative concrete patio, new fencing, integrated utilities for the pool area, updated landscaping elements, and architectural improvements that create a cohesive outdoor retreat. Every detail was planned to maximize functionality while providing inviting spaces for relaxing and entertaining.

• Expansive decorative concrete patio surrounding the pool

• Custom covered patio and outdoor gathering spaces

• Pella windows and patio doors connecting indoor and outdoor living

• CertainTeed roofing coordinated with the existing home

• Aluminum perimeter fencing with self-latching pool safety gates

• Integrated drainage system beneath the patio

• Outdoor audio system with speaker locations throughout the patio

• New electrical service for pool equipment and outdoor lighting

• Dedicated powder room conveniently located off the outdoor living area

• Landscape enhancements designed to complement the new pool environment

The completed outdoor living space transforms the backyard into a private retreat where the homeowners can swim, entertain, and relax throughout the season. By combining the new pool, expansive patio, functional support spaces, and carefully coordinated architectural details, the project creates a seamless extension of the home that is equally suited for everyday enjoyment and hosting family and friends.
