Basements

The homeowners wanted to transform their unfinished basement into a comfortable, multifunctional living space where the entire family could gather, entertain, exercise, and relax. Their vision included a recreation room, custom kitchenette, wine room, home gym, full bathroom, and hidden storage, all while creating a warm atmosphere with distinctive architectural details and premium finishes.

Hurst Design Build Remodel reimagined the lower level as a collection of purposeful spaces connected by a cohesive modern rustic design. A custom kitchenette and recreation room serve as the heart of the basement, while a dedicated wine room, exercise studio, and hidden bookcase door maximize both functionality and character. Rich textures, durable finishes, and custom millwork create an inviting environment that feels like a natural extension of the home’s main living spaces.

• Custom Schrock cabinetry with Top Knobs hardware

• Black Pearl Leather granite countertops in the kitchenette
