Kirtland Traditional Basement
Basements
About This Project
The Homeowner's Challenge
The homeowners wanted to transform their unfinished basement into a warm, traditional gathering space that could accommodate entertaining, family movie nights, and everyday relaxation. Their vision included a custom wet bar, a fireplace, a recreation room, and organized storage, while maintaining a timeless aesthetic that complemented the rest of their home.
Hurst's Approach
Hurst Design Build Remodel designed the lower level around a welcoming recreation room anchored by a custom wet bar and fireplace. Rich wood cabinetry, detailed millwork, natural stone surfaces, and warm finishes create a comfortable atmosphere for entertaining while providing practical storage and durable materials throughout. Every detail was selected to blend traditional character with modern functionality.
