Strongsville Kitchen Addition
Home Additions & Whole House
About This Project
The Homeowner's Challenge
The homeowners needed more living space without sacrificing the charm of their existing home. Their kitchen felt undersized and disconnected from the rest of the house, lacking the storage, seating, and functionality needed for everyday family life and entertaining. They also wanted to improve the connection between their indoor and outdoor living spaces.
Hurst's Approach
Hurst Design Build Remodel designed a rear addition that expanded the home with a spacious new kitchen, informal dining area, and walk-in pantry. The original kitchen was transformed into a comfortable sitting room that flows into the family room, creating a more functional and cohesive main living area. The project also included a new rear patio and replacement windows to improve natural light, energy efficiency, and the home’s connection to the outdoors.
