Members of the Hurst Design Team, Project Consultants and Production Team will be at Booth #916. We look forward to saying hello and talking with you about your design challenges or plans for a future home remodeling project.

As Cleveland’s Top Design Build Remodeler, Hurst brings years of experience in whole home renovations, luxury kitchen remodels, custom basements, and bath designs. Stop by to see examples of our work and discuss your project ideas.

Our interactive booth will feature design boards, before and after photos, current design trends, and material samples to help you visualize what is possible for your home.

While you are at the show, you can even schedule a free in-home consultation with a member of our experienced team.

This annual show is a Cleveland tradition. A chance to get out of the house and out of the cold to see what is new in the world of home remodeling, landscaping, and interior design. Top rated vendors will showcase the latest indoor and outdoor trends, innovations, and products. Hurst Design Build Remodel is excited to be part of the show again this year.

We know home shows can be overwhelming, so we want to break it down for you and help you make the most of your time at the show.

First, a very practical piece of advice. Wear good shoes for walking. The show floor is expansive. You will definitely get your steps in, so comfy shoes are a must to make the day enjoyable. Also, take a break mid-visit and grab some lunch or a snack to give you an energy boost so you can spend the time to see everything you want to see.

Plot your course. If you want to sit and enjoy the shows on the main stage, be sure to plan ahead to be in that area at the right time. There is no commitment to stay for the entirety of any show - just pop in and see what is of interest to you.

The primary goal of attending any home and garden show is to gather inspiration for your own home projects. Vendors offer different experiences for their guests, some with fully immersible show displays, model rooms, and innovative and interactive designs.

Arrive with an open mind. You may have a really good sense of your design style, but a new trend or new technology may catch your eye. Take a few notes on your phone, snap some photos as you walk through the show and the displays, and ask questions from experts at their booths. Many vendors offer printed brochures or QR codes that link to their websites. This is a great way to remember which experts you want to follow up with, or remind you which companies you want to do more research on to narrow down your options.

We recommend that you go the GBH&G website: https://www.greatbighomeandgarden.com/ and take a look at the list of vendors ahead of the show. If you need counters and cabinets, for example, find those vendors, do some research online before you come so you know who you would like to talk with. Read reviews online so you know which companies have the best reputation in town. As we mentioned, the show floor is expansive. You don’t want to just hope you come across the vendors that are the best fit for your goals.

Take time to truly engage with experts at the show. Most companies will be equipped with their own team which may include architects, interior designers, and even landscaping professionals. Share your ideas, seek advice to gain insights and inspiration. Building these connections will be invaluable when planning your own home and garden projects. The truth is, at home and garden shows, there really is something for everyone.

Just enjoy walking the floor and find displays that capture your attention. You will see some beautiful displays with the latest in cabinetry, lighting, plumbing fixtures, and of course the designers and remodelers that can bring it all together for your home.

The Great Big Home and Garden Show this year will feature special speakers and celebrities. Attending these keynotes provides a wealth of knowledge that you can apply to enhance the functionality and aesthetics of your home. These experts can share with you best practices that have been working for them in their home project journeys. This year, the show will be hosting some major celebrities from HGTV including Dave and Jenny Marrs of “Fixer to Fabulous” and Mina Starsiak Hawk from “Good Bones: Risky Business.”

Take advantage of all the industry professionals who are gathering at the show; exchange ideas, share experiences, and gain valuable recommendations from those who have the expertise and experience to address home remodeling challenges you might be facing. One of the many great things about the Great Big Home & Garden Show is how long it lasts. If you visit on an off peak day or time, the remodeling experts can take more time to talk with you and focus on your questions. Get ready to be inspired, educated, and empowered to turn your dream home into a reality.

Whether you’re in the early stages of planning, or ready to dive into a major renovation, visit us at booth #916 to connect with our experts and start your journey to reinvent your home.
