Olmsted Falls Custom Laundry Room
Laundry & Mud rooms
About This Project
The Homeowner's Challenge
The homeowners wanted to make better use of two underperforming spaces by converting an existing den into a spacious laundry room and transforming the former laundry area into a functional mudroom. Their goals included adding significantly more storage, improving organization, creating a dedicated drop zone for coats and shoes, and establishing a better flow between the garage, kitchen, and the rest of the home.
Hurst's Approach
Hurst Design Build Remodel completely reconfigured the layout to create two highly functional spaces tailored to the family’s everyday routines. The new laundry room features custom cabinetry, abundant countertop space, and a dedicated storage closet, while the remodeled mudroom incorporates built-in lockers, a bench, and organized storage for daily essentials. Quality finishes and durable materials were selected to create spaces that are both practical and visually connected to the rest of the home.
