The Homeowner’s Challenge

The homeowners loved their location in the heart of Tremont but wanted a home that better reflected their modern lifestyle. Their existing kitchen and first floor felt closed off and lacked the open gathering spaces, storage, and functionality they desired. They also wanted to completely update the home’s appearance with a contemporary design while improving the flow between the kitchen, dining, and living spaces.

Hurst’s Approach

Hurst Design Build Remodel completed a comprehensive whole-home renovation centered around an expansive, open-concept kitchen. The first floor was completely reconfigured to create a spacious kitchen with a large island, dedicated coffee station, custom banquette, and wet bar. Throughout the renovation, the team introduced clean architectural lines, custom millwork, and warm natural materials that transformed the home’s traditional layout into a modern living environment while strengthening the connection between the interior and outdoor spaces.
