The Homeowner’s Challenge

The homeowners loved their Rocky River neighborhood but had outgrown their home’s functionality. They wanted to create a larger kitchen and family room, add a private primary suite, improve storage throughout the home, and enhance their outdoor living spaces. Their goal was to create a home that better supported family life and entertaining while preserving the character of their home. 

Hurst’s Approach

Hurst Design Build Remodel reimagined the home through a comprehensive renovation and addition. The project included a rear kitchen and family room addition, a new attached garage, a second-floor primary suite, and thoughtfully designed outdoor living spaces. The original kitchen was repurposed into a mudroom, butler’s pantry, and additional storage, allowing the new kitchen to become the centerpiece of the home. Custom Mullet cabinetry, premium finishes, and expansive windows create a bright, welcoming space that connects effortlessly to the outdoor entertaining areas.
