Hudson Bold and Luxe Kitchen

About This Project
The Homeowner's Challenge
The homeowners wanted to update their kitchen while maintaining the elegance of their Hudson home. Their goal was to create a bold, luxurious space with improved functionality, custom storage, and a stronger connection to the adjacent hearth and family rooms, all while refreshing much of the first floor to create a cohesive design.
Hurst's Approach
Hurst Design Build Remodel reconfigured the kitchen with a new island-centered layout, custom inset cabinetry, and premium finishes that balance dramatic contrast with natural materials. The team incorporated high–performance appliances, relocated plumbing and lighting to improve workflow, refinished the existing hardwood flooring, and carried the renovation into the hearth room and family room with coordinated millwork, a refreshed bar, and updated finishes for a unified first floor.
Key Design Features
