Brecksville Luxury Kitchen Remodel

About This Project

The Homeowner’s Challenge

The homeowners wanted to create a more spacious, functional kitchen that better supported everyday living and entertaining. The existing layout was divided by a back staircase and a wall separating the kitchen from the great room, limiting both natural flow and usable space. They also hoped to improve the home’s organization with a redesigned mudroom and laundry room while gaining a fourth bedroom on the second floor by eliminating the existing staircase.

Hurst’s Approach

Hurst Design Build Remodel completely reimagined the first floor by removing the back staircase and opening the wall between the kitchen and great room. This allowed for a spacious new kitchen centered around a large island while improving circulation throughout the home’s primary living spaces. The project also included a redesigned mudroom and laundry room with custom storage, new flooring throughout the first floor, and the creation of a fourth bedroom above where the staircase once stood. Premium materials, custom Omega cabinetry, and carefully selected architectural details create a home that is both highly functional and visually striking.

Luxury finishes, professional-grade appliances, custom storage, and a striking glass wine room elevate the design, while the addition of a fourth bedroom, updated mudroom, and laundry room provide practical improvements that will benefit the family for years to come.
