The Homeowner’s Challenge

The homeowners wanted to refresh their dated kitchen with a brighter, more functional design that better supported everyday living and entertaining. Their wish list included increased storage, a spacious island for gathering, improved lighting, and thoughtful organizational features, all while maintaining a warm, transitional style that complemented the rest of their Bay Village home.

Hurst’s Approach

Hurst Design Build Remodel redesigned the kitchen to maximize both beauty and functionality. The new layout introduced a large center island as the focal point of the space, expanded storage with a floor-to-ceiling pantry cabinet, custom built-ins, and a dedicated drop zone, while relocating plumbing and appliances to improve workflow. New Pella windows, layered lighting, and custom Kith cabinetry filled the kitchen with natural light and practical storage solutions, creating a welcoming space for cooking, gathering, and entertaining.
