Westlake Elevated Outdoor Living

Exterior and Outdoor Living

About This Project

The Homeowner's Challenge

The homeowners wanted to replace an aging enclosed porch with a bright, inviting outdoor living space that could be enjoyed throughout much of the year. They envisioned a covered porch that felt like a natural extension of the home while also adding a spacious patio, improved access to the backyard, and comfortable areas for relaxing and entertaining.

Hurst's Approach

Hurst Design Build Remodel designed a dramatic outdoor living addition featuring a vaulted covered porch, an adjacent patio, and a seamless connection to the home’s interior. The project incorporated durable low-maintenance materials, architectural beam details, a custom fireplace, and expansive windows to blur the line between indoor and outdoor living. The result is an elegant gathering space that complements the home’s updated exterior while providing exceptional functionality for everyday use and entertaining.
