The Homeowner's Challenge
The homeowners wanted to enhance the curb appeal of their traditional Rocky River home by creating a more welcoming front entrance. Their existing porch felt undersized and lacked architectural presence, while the front walk, landscaping, and lighting no longer complemented the home. They envisioned a larger covered porch with inviting seating areas, upgraded materials, and timeless details that would improve both the home’s appearance and everyday functionality.

Hurst Design Build Remodel redesigned the entire front elevation by expanding the porch, introducing classic architectural elements, and creating a cohesive exterior design. The project included a new standing seam metal roof, natural stone porch and walkways, raised landscape beds, custom millwork, decorative lighting, and carefully selected exterior finishes. Every detail was chosen to elevate the home’s character while creating a welcoming outdoor living space for relaxing and entertaining.
