Pepper Pike Traditional Deck
Exterior and Outdoor Living
About This Project
The Homeowner's Challenge
The homeowners wanted to enhance their existing backyard deck by creating a covered outdoor living space that would provide shade, expand their entertaining area, and better connect the home to the outdoors. They envisioned a porch roof that looked like an original part of the home while extending the deck to create more usable space for relaxing and gathering with family and friends.
Hurst's Approach
Hurst Design Build Remodel designed a custom roof structure over the existing composite deck while expanding the deck footprint to create additional outdoor living space. Decorative columns, coordinated siding and roofing materials, and architectural details were carefully matched to the home, creating a seamless addition that feels original to the property. The result is a comfortable, covered retreat that extends the home’s living space into the backyard.
