Bathrooms

The homeowners wanted to completely reimagine their historic Tremont home with a modern layout that better suited their lifestyle while preserving its urban character. As part of the whole house remodel, the homeowners told the designer they wanted a “sexy bathroom”, a space that felt sophisticated, luxurious, and unlike anything they had before. Their wish list included a larger walk-in shower, improved storage, premium natural materials, and a clean contemporary aesthetic.

Hurst Design Build Remodel redesigned the primary bathroom with an open, sophisticated layout centered around natural stone, custom cabinetry, and high-performance fixtures. A spacious walk-in shower, custom vanity, and carefully selected finishes create a refined space that feels both luxurious and practical. Every detail was selected to complement the home’s modern architecture while providing lasting durability and everyday comfort.

• Custom Mullet cabinetry with Berenson hardware

• Exquisite Leather quartzite countertops

• Kohler vanity faucet with a Ruvati sink

• Walk-in shower featuring a Kohler showerhead, hand shower, valve, and grab bars

• Moen bathroom accessories

• TileBar porcelain wall tile paired with TileBar flooring

• Hardwood flooring extending into the bathroom for a warm, contemporary feel

• Sherwin-Williams paint palette and Marvin windows providing abundant natural light

The completed space more than delivers. Bold natural stone, custom cabinetry, and a spacious spa-inspired shower create a dramatic yet inviting retreat that feels like a luxury hotel. The result is a bathroom that is undeniably sophisticated, highly functional, and every bit as “sexy” as the homeowners had imagined.
