About This Project
The Homeowner's Challenge
The homeowners wanted to transform an outdated primary bathroom into a more spacious and functional retreat by expanding into the adjacent loft area. Their goals included creating room for a luxurious freestanding soaking tub, a larger custom shower, improved storage, and a brighter, more comfortable layout that better suited their everyday routine. The renovation also included updates to the loft with built-in seating, shelving, and new windows to complement the new primary suite.
Hurst's Approach
Hurst Design Build Remodel extended the existing dormer to accommodate a completely reconfigured primary bathroom and loft. The team redesigned the space with a custom vanity, an oversized tile shower, a freestanding Jacuzzi soaking tub, and premium finishes throughout. By combining architectural changes with carefully selected materials, the remodel created a seamless blend of classic style and modern comfort.
