Brecksville Transitional Lower Level
Basements
About This Project
The Homeowner's Challenge
The homeowners wanted to transform their unfinished basement into a sophisticated lower level that could serve as an extension of their home’s main living spaces. They envisioned a warm, transitional design featuring areas for entertaining, relaxing, and hosting guests, complete with a custom bar and a striking fireplace feature.
Hurst's Approach
Hurst Design Build Remodel designed a flexible lower level centered around a spacious entertainment area with a custom wet bar and a contemporary fireplace. Durable, low-maintenance materials were paired with custom cabinetry, architectural millwork, and layered finishes to create a comfortable gathering space that feels both refined and inviting. Every detail was selected to complement the home’s transitional aesthetic while maximizing functionality.
