Avon Custom Contemporary Lower Level

About This Project

The Homeowner's Challenge

The homeowners wanted to maximize their unfinished basement by creating a contemporary lower level that offered something for everyone. Their goals included a comfortable home theater, a custom entertaining bar, a game space, a private guest bedroom, a full bathroom, and ample storage, all while incorporating unique architectural details and modern finishes.

Hurst's Approach

Hurst Design Build Remodel transformed the basement into a multifunctional entertainment destination centered around a custom curved bar and theater room. Every area was designed to serve a purpose, from the guest suite with a sliding barn door to the dedicated game and recreation spaces. Rich wood accents, bold tile selections, custom cabinetry, and layered lighting create a contemporary lower level that is equally suited for hosting friends or enjoying a quiet movie night.
