The homeowners loved everything about living in Tremont, from the walkable neighborhood and nearby restaurants to the views of Downtown Cleveland. While they had already invested in creating a backyard pool oasis, the home’s dated layout and traditional finishes no longer reflected the modern lifestyle they wanted. Their goal was to create a contemporary home with better flow, improved functionality, and stronger connections between the indoor and outdoor living spaces without leaving the neighborhood they loved. 

Hurst Design Build Remodel completely reimagined both the interior and exterior of the home, creating an open floor plan designed for entertaining and everyday living. By relocating the centrally located powder room, the team dramatically expanded the kitchen and introduced a large island, custom banquette seating, and improved circulation throughout the first floor. Contemporary finishes, warm natural materials, and bold architectural details brought a fresh, modern aesthetic while preserving the home’s connection to its urban setting.
