Rocky River Brick Colonial Addition

Home Additions & Whole House

About This Project

The Homeowner's Challenge

The homeowners wanted to preserve the timeless character of their classic brick Colonial while creating a home that better supported modern family living. Their existing layout lacked the spacious gathering areas, storage, and private retreat they envisioned, and they wanted the addition to blend seamlessly with the original architecture inside and out.

Hurst's Approach

Hurst Design Build Remodel designed a carefully integrated addition that expanded the home’s living space while maintaining its traditional curb appeal. The project included a beautifully appointed kitchen, new gathering spaces, a luxurious primary suite, updated laundry and bath areas, and exterior improvements that complemented the home’s original brick façade. Every detail was selected to create a cohesive design that feels as though it has always been part of the home.
