The homeowners wanted to expand their home while embracing a design that better reflected their style and the way they lived. Their existing layout felt compartmentalized and lacked the open flow, natural light, and connection between spaces they envisioned. Inspired by mid-century modern design, they wanted an addition that would create a more functional home for everyday living while introducing clean architectural lines, warm natural materials, and inviting spaces for gathering and entertaining. 

Hurst Design Build Remodel designed a seamless addition that transformed both the function and character of the home. Drawing inspiration from mid-century modern architecture, the design features open sightlines, expansive windows, warm wood accents, and a refined material palette that creates a strong connection between the interior and surrounding landscape. The project included a spacious new kitchen, a remodeled family room, a luxurious primary bathroom, an updated powder room, a mudroom, and a laundry room, all thoughtfully designed to feel cohesive while balancing sophisticated design with everyday functionality.
